Description

The most distant Messier galaxy at ~65 million light years away, this barred spiral galaxy has a distinct central core structure with spectacular blue arms.
Several well formed galaxies are nearby in the frame as well.

Taken with a OSC on an SCT. Moon tried to jump into the party, but GraXpert was able to tame its brilliance while still retaining some dust details. I used well drizzled data scaled up 2x so that the primary galaxy could be central to the shot while eliminating some dead, um space around it..
